Waiting for the train to Venice. Yesterday we took the tourist bus around a bit and then waited in line for the Uffizi gallery. Eventually we gave up because we'd been waiting for hours and the line was still a million miles long. We ate an overpriced crappy meal in an attempt to eat a primi, secondi AND vegetables, like the Italians do, learning

STOP THE PRESSES-- what was the name of the Gelato place you went to? I want to see if we all got directed to the same "best gelateria in Florence".

Hell if I remember. We had gelato so many times at so many different places. I don't remember 'the best gelateria in Florence' being associated with it, though.

Haha, okay. That was what our tour director refered to it as, and when we got lost on our way to it later, we stopped and asked a vendor where the best gelato was, and she gave us the same directions and place as Alberto.
