I'm impressed. You're an excellent storyteller. The tone of the story is very clear; I can feel the oppression of the Northern Water Tribe through both Zuko and Katara's eyes. It's cold and vast and they're both trapped in their own way. You've also got a good pace going for the conflict of the story; Azula is gone, which can only mean upsetting things, and I get the feeling that Long Feng is up to something (when is he not?). Your biggest accomplishment, I think, is that all the action feels very natural. There isn't a single moment in this story in which the scene feels forced.

I'm going to be following this as you post it. You don't happen to have a fanfiction dot net account, do you? I'd love to follow you there as well. :)
