Just went upstairs into the spare room (which mum has some of her sweing stuff) and nicked my toe on a sewing needle hidden in the carpet - i sat on the bed to pull it out - thinking it was only just through the upper layer of my skin - to discover (as i was pulling it out) that it went straight IN to the surface of my toe and bent the needle -

I may have already told you this. When I was five years old, I was running around my grandmother's house, and I stepped on something sharp. I thought it was a piece of glass - I looked down to see what it was, and it was a hypodermic needle, left by my druggie cousin.

Oh! And last year I was chewing on a pen, and I bit it wrong and it whacked my teeth. I thought I'd chipped a bit of plastic off the pen, but when I spat it out, it was actually a piece of tooth.

Yes, my uncle almost severed his toe clean off yesterday by cutting right along the bottom of the toe and making it bleed profusely. Cut was so deep he could see bone :-|
