My mother keeps a small number of beta fish around the house. Anywhere from 1-4 (number keeps changing b/c they're always dying, and she'll buy replacements from time to time). Haha, that's kinda fun/ny.

I once lost a fish, well 3-4 that I cared quite a bit for. One was my first fish ever that I didn't really want for my 8th or 9th birthday. No one showed me how to clean the tank or would get me the supplies and it smelled and he died and it was tragic. The way he would bob close to the tank glass and then run into.... ugh. I had found out and had even told them I didn't want a fish... oh wells.

Then Linc once had some fish. I loved my Pictus Catfish, they were great. Then my son decided to share is chocolate milk, he was 3 at the time. I just couldn't change the water fast enough.

You could change them for fun, give the fish a hard time. I bet they would like it. :D

I am really hungry for fish now, I could go for some walleye.
