Looking at my finances, I have enough in savings that I could completely pay off my student loan debt (which is my only real debt hanging over my head, as I pay off my credit card bill in full each month), and still have a few thousand left in savings. (I had already paid off about half of my remaining student loan balance a few months ago ( Read more... )

yep. I'm not into the whole zombie thing any more than I'm into the whole vampire thing (which is "not at all into it"). But I found the episode entertaining.

And the fact that there was a fair amount of Alexis in that ep also helped.

It will be interesting to see how the season finale ends up.

1. I read it.

2. I know what you mean about losing the safety net. Even though it has just been sitting there unused, it's a "what If..."

There is also a somewhat major surgery that at some point I will probably need (SHOULD have gotten it done years ago, but I'm too damn chicken). And I have no idea how much that will cost.

So I've been hesitant to drain my savings too much. But considering how long I've already put it off, I probably won't be getting it any time soon anyway. So I might as well stop wasting money on paying student loan interest and just pay off the full amount.

Admitting your chicken is the first step. It is ok to be scared. Had I never had some of the expereinces I had I would be chick to.
Im chicken of alot of things. Iam chicken if my back goes out again, if I can't cut my extra weight what that will mean fo my back. It's ok to be scared but you still got to try... nothing is worse than the feeling of what if I just got it done. What if I just did what I was scared to do. It gets easier, each time.
You have got to do it for your health. You just call, make the appointment and get it done as fast as possible and here is why....

YOU won't have to think about it anymore. And once it's done it will hurt a bit. but then days turn to weeks and you won't remember what is was like. You will just be glad it is over. :D

Then pay as much of your loan off that you can.
