I'm not entirely sure where you're confused here. I am aware that spreading the religion is part of the Christianity religion. I am writing here that it is a flaw in the religion. I believe a religion, if it is even remotely plausible, is capable of spreading its own growth. A purposeful spread of Christianity values influences the poor in other cultures and presses them to change in ways that they would not have otherwise.

I don't personally care what people believe in, but I would prefer they came to that conclusion using their own logic and want without pressure/guilt of converting. I, for one, would never offer food to a starving Christian on the premises he listen to the reasons why it is possible God might exist. Ideally, I would offer food to a starving Christian and things would end there. I would do it because I inherently want to help people, not for the dual purposes of helping people and spreading my virus.

Not related to missionaries, but related to religion, pressuring, and motivations for conversion:

My dad wants me to go to church just to be more social. Whether Christianity's true does not concern him. He thinks going for social interaction will make me more happy, and that, if I convert, hey, who cares if God exists, converted people seem to be happy.

I've been quite opposed to his idea, and I told him I'd hang up on him as soon as he starts telling me about it for the umteenth time.
