Saw this news clip (under the cut) on the KirkSpockSlash social network and had to share it. I know a lot of you may have seen it already, but for those who haven't can I just say ROFL! Man, I would have loved to have been there. Not just to catch Shatner and Nimoy in an embrace (although that would have been a definite perk, don't get me wrong)

And you know they have a lot of time practicing the embracing part before al pacino comes and find them... so i think they have time for more than a little embrace, like a little kiss and some touching (they got that party else where obviously, after that)

You can't not tell me they were and are an issue, even if they never admitted it and they never lived together, because the world was different, when Bill get the first divorce, and i think Nimoy is Shatnersexual and heterosexual, and and Shatner idk he is like bisexual reformed to Nimoysexual and heterosexual?

lol, well, I try not to pry too much into the private lives of the stars I adore and admire (not that I judge those who do, to each their own, just that I feel, personally, that the paparazzi tend to go overboard with their stalking sometimes and that public figures -- like actors -- deserve some sort of personal life too, you know?)

But I will say this, Shatner and Nimoy have extraordinary chemistry together. :-)

i have no doubt that Nimoy loves his wife as Shatner loves his.
but there is a unfinished real love, between shatner and nimoy and i really think in some points of their lives it was not platonic at all. And i'm sure in another reality and in modern times they maybe would turned a couple after Bill's father died, Len marriage was a disaster like bill's was.
But they were in the 60's and both of them were old school so nothing of the sort happened.

but if you really read and look in their history you will see that the love is real, it is not paparazy and it is not fabricated for fangirls

lol, well, like I said, I wouldn't know. Other than their interviews, their conventions and their books I haven't really been exposed to any further news regarding their downtime. I lead a pretty sheltered life all truth be told, lol. The only magazine I have a subscription to is National Geographic (and a Disney one, for Savvy), and when I'm on the net I tend to visit the same sites over and over: livejournal, K/S Archive, AO3, hotmail, yahoomail, gmail, google, amazon, ebay, kirkspock slash social network, memory alpha and occasionally, facebook.

I don't get out much, this is true. XD

Yes! You should totally join! It's a lot of fun. Everyone there is really nice, it's both TOS and Reboot geared and the photo section is a cornucopia of goodies. XD
