i think he is an awesome character, as i said to you other times i'm like a k/S fan of the KS character, but i have no trouble to see how awesome Jim is as how Awesome Spock is individually and always pooor Jim has the hate of a large portion of people.
but i really don't care much about it because Jim is really the captain! i love how he balance things and his empathy, he has not only intuition guts and intelligence he has empathy, he can feel the emotions of others of others beings and work with that, he has no trouble to give himself up to save his crew in any way ( this is the most misinterpreted) if he must to give his body to give his crew time to save themselves, he do it, if he must die for them, or quit for them he will do it.
But i'm still have problems with my au like is an au idk if i have him right or how make him right (*crying*)

is that Jim is in an au crossover with Dune where he is an bene gesserit trainee/fake slave/ lieutenant undercover/ in presurak vulcan empire with a double mission.
so maintain Jim voice is really difficult, that's why i need you to look at it and say mmm, yes it is ok go ahead sound like him, or mmm no he would be more like that ....
