Lovely and beautiful story. With the right amount of angst (my favorite!), hurt/comfort, humor, perfect characterizations and lots and lots of love. I especially liked that the reader came to knew the "apparent" rejecting words of Spock nearly at the end. Ah, and Jim suffering! I most confess I'm addicted to suffering Jim! You made me cry and smile so much!!! The scene of Jim waking in bed with Spock in Christmas morning is especially beautiful. Thanks for writing this lovely story. A beautiful Christmas gift indeed!

You just made my whole night! What wonderful and heartwarming feedback. Thank you so much! Grinning so hugely right now. I'm so thrilled you enjoyed the story.

And lol, I'm with you suffering!Jim. I love the guy to death, but it is definitely fun to watch him grapple with things in that Kirkian way his. ;)

You got it in one! That's exactly what Spock was thinking!

Thank you for the awesome feedback, darling, I'm so flattered and touched that the story was a visceral experience for you. Can't think of a greater compliment, put a big smile on my face. :)

Hi Sweetie! *hugs*

I missed you, too. And thank you for such lovely comments. Made my day. I'm ridiculously touched. You are too kind.

I did see the trailer and I'm super stoked. Can't wait! Come on May, come on.

I will definitely make a squee post after seeing "The Hobbit" and the nine minute glory in front of it, lol.

I'm so glad you've written an advent fic. You're such a good writer.

It's so like both of them to not communicate properly with each other.

This is such a sweet and endearing story with great humour and great characterisation. It's so painful for Jim when he thinks he's been rejected, he takes it so hard, which is so like ST IX Jim due to his history.

Thanks for posting.

It had been wa-ay too long! I've missed you - it was awesome getting the chance to catch up! I definitely need to be better at keeping in touch, even when life is crazy (which pretty much describes the entirety of 2012, to be completely honest). And I hereby promise to not let it go that long again! *big hugs*
