We had a great Thanksgiving with my side of the extended family... so much to be grateful for.

Friday the 23rd- 4th beta 18dpt- Unfortunately the number did not double from Wednesday. It only rose to 138. The clinic is nearly certain it is not viable. They want to run one more blood test on Monday to further see the pattern. If it starts to drop ( Read more... )

Happy 9th Birthday to the special boy I carried as a gestational surrogate 💙 My first surrobaby is certainly no longer a baby. So many memories... and it’s been a privilege to watch him grow up from a distance (through texts and FaceBook). Praying many continued blessings over him and his family!!!

It has been a roller coaster week and it's not over yet... We transferred over two weeks ago on the 5th. Last week I started home testing. My IM wanted me to share the results with her, which was neat for us. I saw the first squinter on Saturday the 10th. We were thrilled as the line darkened over the next few days.

FINALLY!!! I've been on and off meds since mid August, while we waited patiently through three med cycles for all the conditions to be right for a transfer. We are thrilled that today is THE day.

Hubby and I arrived at the clinic in Boston around 12:30pm. Once S&C arrived shortly after, we were all suited up into our gear :)

10/17-I had my first monitoring appointment at 7am on Wednesday October 17th, just bloodwork testing my natural estradiol and progesterone levels. The clinic called that afternoon to say that my levels looked good and that I could start taking Estrace again that evening. We are aiming for possibly an early-mid November transfer.

It’s August! Negotiating through the contract took a bit longer than expected, but our lawyers were great and we all had it signed by the weekend of July 21st/22nd. My medication was ordered and shipped to me by the 30th- just estrogen tablets and the Progesterone In Oil w/needles. We got the news on May 29th that I passed medical and psychological screening. The next step was then placed into S&C’s lawyer’s hands in June, and we now have a draft of our contract!
