Everything is going really well right now. I am taking 18 credits this semester: Animal Behavior/lab, Marine Ecoloy/lab, Organic chemistry/lab. I feel like I'm doing much better in my classes this time around because I don't have to worry about driving back and forth from Waterboro to Portland everyday. This conversation took place only moments ago followed by lots of giggling. It`s rediculous how fast one`s english deteriorates here. We sound so rediculous, and only on few occasions notice.

After a pain-in-the-ass application, proposal, and an interview with 5 people, I was finally iformed that I have been selected for a three week program in Tokyo, Japan! I am SO EXCITED!!! It doesn't even seem real. JAPAN!

On Sunday I turned twenty. The lack of the suffix "teen" makes me feel exceptionaly older than I have on previous birthdays. I had a wonderful birthday weekend: Friday was spent dining at the Madd Apple Cafe with Robbie, and my first real jewelery pressent.
