 I know I’ve not written anything all year. I’m going to blame it on my mediocre life. However, right now I need to rant and am really looking for a sympathetic pair of eyes.

Regarding the pastorals: Amelia Lanyer might count, Lady Mary Wroth definitely--and her uncle, Sir Phillip Sidney, wrote Arcadia which is right up there too. Milton's Lycidas. And if you have the Marlowe, then Ralegh's "The Nymphs Reply to the Shepherd." Campion's "I Care Not for These Ladies" fits in. Hope this isn't coming too late to be mildly helpful.

And now that you know what to expect from the test, I'm sure you'll do fine the second time around. Ganbate!
