As far as the new Placebo album goes, I like it.  Normally that would be cool, but not with this.  Not when I think that all of their previous albums were fucking amazing.

How the HELL did I miss that the band Placebo no longer includes Steve Hewitt?  I was SO excited that they were finally releasing a new album, until I started looking at pictures and noticed something was wrong.  Apparently he left in October of 2007, so like a month after I saw them in concert and got my poster and cd signed by them ( Read more... )

Today I was promoted to the third in commands assistant, which means I'll be in charge of the new person that I was already in charge of first round of interviews.  It also came with a pay raise.

I'm very happy.

My first real night working at Target was last night.  It's a pretty pathetically simply job, which is kind of nice since I'm going there straight from a job that requires actual brain cells.  I spent about an hour and a half with the training manual at a register going through it and doing all the things it says to do.  But really, you don't need ( Read more... )
