As always. Its hard for me to realize I'm the mother to an almost-11-month-old. The amount that Jacob has grown in the last year is stunning. To those who haven't seen our little guy recently, he's now cruising around our apartment like its cool. I would try to write a serious entry, but in all honesty I'm not sure I can. Pretty bad that one shot can do this to me though. Dropping Manuel off today at recruiters school, one thing hit me over and over again: I didn't know what to expect. There's something to be said for knowing what to expect to some degree or another. At least I'm gradually getting better at this point, instead of worse. Jacob seems to be recovering. Manuel says he's getting better, though I don't know how with the insane work schedule he's had the last few days.

Having said that, it probably means I should be cleaning or at teh very least making some lunch. Oh the laziness of it all!
