Al and I watched Twilight out of some sort of morbid curiousity/laziness last night. I mean... the previews for the movie made it look horrible, but sooo many people loved the books so... there's gotta be something there, right? Oh my God... it was so bad, haha. Things in the movie that didn't make sense:
1. The main girl was white as a ghost, but lived in Pheonix... did she never go outside?
2. "The Cullens" are supposedly adopted by this doctor and they all live in his house and apparently fuck each other... which is weird but does not seem to raise any suspicions with the other kids at school. They all, including the doctor-dad-man LOOK LIKE VAMPIRES!! And NOBODY thinks that's strange!
This is explained as that they all are "from Alaska"... well... I hear for thirty days out of the year Alaska has vampires.
3. Edward seems more like a creepy foreign exchange student than Captain McDreamy, but this girl wants his balls anyway. They decide to date and he brings her home to meet his vapire family who are like "Whaaaat??? A human in our house??? MUST FEED!!!" Which really makes no sense because they're around people ALL DAY (including this bitch) at school/hospital. Durp!
4. Vampires LOVE baseball! So much so they dress to the nines to play a casual game!
The vampire in the front.... I am pretty sure he is an owl.
Then some other vampires show up and they're not "Vegetarians" (this is what Edward calls Vampires who eat only animals... don't get me started). And they are like "Want to play the baseball!!! Love Baseball!!!" BUt then realize there is a human there and "MUST FEED!!!" What??? They are around humans ALL THE TIME!!! Dis bitch must taste like vampire beer or something.
If you're wondering if any of this will prevent me from reading the series or watching the movies that follow, you are wrong. I will watch them anyways because I have some sort of shitty movie watching disease.
In UPT news, I did not get my Tens Unit. Don't get me started on that either.
Right now Al is watching "Alien vs. Predator 2"... yes, they made a '2'.
