Climbing Mount Doom!

Remember way back when I put together a to-do list of things to be accomplished in New Zealand?  Well, I can officially cross “Climb Mount Doom” off the list now.  Well, sort of.  Let me explain.

Beautiful country and great descriptions of your journey/adventure. Parts of it kind of reminds me of Lassen Park. I was wondering where all the trees were but then you talked about coming back into tree line. So you must have been pretty high in elevation. Can't wait to hear about Wellington in the next post. Dad

Yeah, it was pretty awesome! I don't know about the elevation, but it was about 19km altogether for the hike, which is quite a ways uphill. Glad you liked it! Wellington soon to come!

Finally gott to this one. I didn't realize how much you've written. I just spent a week touring with you after reading this post and Wellington. You are an amazing writer and brochure writer.

Aww, shucks. Don't make me blush. You know me, I just can't summarize. It's annoying in person but useful when writing a short novel. Look forward to South Island soon!
