Wellington - Day 1, 2 and 4

Last time we “talked,” I was on the verge of collapse after the Crossing, so it was a nice change of pace to just cruise around a big city for a few days. I was originally planning on being there Saturday through Tuesday, but, once again, Stray had availability for everyday except Tuesday, so I ended up staying until Wednesday instead. Wow! Wellington sounds fantastic - so much to do and so little time. The descriptions and pictures make me think of SF. Thanks for the great update and can't wait to here about Day 3. Can't wait to hear the about the South Island too. Love you, Dad

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Hoping to go back and visit again on my way back up north. If Auckland was Seattle, Wellington was very much like SF. Day 3 now up!

Wellington on a good weather day seems much like SF on a good day. Glad you got to experience that. The gardens look pretty awesome.

Yeah, it's nice enough when it's cloudy - which seems to be 90% of the time - but it's a whole other ballgame when it's nice out. Glad you got a taste of it!
