Everybody gets "What to Expect When You're Expecting". If you don't get it yourself, somebody will get it for you when you get pregnant. In fact, I had it sent to me by two different people.
However, I live and die by "Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" by Vicki Iovine. She's very opinionated (she believes in delivering in a hospital and why forgo drugs if they're offered and safe?) but she totally tells you everything that you can't read in a normal pregnancy book. All those odd quirks that are happening to your body and your personality are explored and you don't feel quite so odd for crying because the slippers you bought as a present came in size 8 instead of the size 10 you ordered (and, yep, did that!).

And when you are pregnant, Gentle Birth Choices is basically the most amazing book I read while pregnant!
