'Lo!!
Hey everyone! =)
Wow, it's been a long time. But I guess it's better late than never.
It's been a long couple of months since school started. I turned 20 at the end of september, and had a blast! Many thanks to those again who pitched in for my dressform! I love it to death! I also saw Wicked at the end of October with Chloe, Chibi, Meaghie and Lorne. Disappointing when the Elphaba was the understudy, but she was still amazing and I loved seeing it again <3 Other than that, I've been rather boring. DX
Oh, I did see the new Harry Potter movie with an amazing bunch of people on friday. I'm very sorry I was so anti-social that night ><" Thankfully, my midterm the next morning went very well (yes, seeing HP that night was probably a very stupid idea, but I didn't really want to see it by myself >>). I also went to SolarTempest's Brickworks shoot on Saturday, and even though I wasn't there too long, it was a lot of fun!! That woman was still rather... well... b***hy though XD
I'm also really excited for the Final Fantasy Orchestra on saturday night!!! My dad got me and my little brother tickets back in... March? April? Long time ago. But Nobuo Uematsu is going to be there!!! I honestly can't wait.
School has been... insane to say the least. All my difficult courses decided they were going to be in 1st term, so I've been pretty stressed to say the least. Thankfully, all my midterms (I don't even know why they're called midterms when you have more than one of them in most classes >.>) are now over and done with, and I just have a few assignments to go before I start finals. On top of school work I need to find a thesis professor for next year ASAP, but I'm a bit (slash a lot) worried about getting one. If I can't get one, to say that I'm in rather deep shit is an understatement, so hopefully it works out. I'm in the process of writing emails now, so wish me luck!
As for other personal stuff... well, I've been feeling down right horrible emotionally/mentally lately, but hopefully things will pick up soon.
For cosplay: Thank you again to Amanda for the Nana shots (they are amazing and love <3)
As for cons: I don't know about DTAC yet, but hopefully I want to make the winter version of Hikaru from MKR. I bought the fabric for it last week, but haven't had time to touch it yet. I'm so excited for my new wig to come in though!! I was quite sad to find that my Hikaru wig from our goddess costumes wasn't long enough to work for actual hikaru, but I'm quite excited for my new one! It's a fantasy sheep wig, and I've heard good things about them.
I'm also kinda excited for FutureCon! I couldn't afford the entertainment package, but I will still be there on New Years Eve! I'm thinking either Luna Lovegood or my steampunk design!
My first con in the new year will probably be Wizard World, but as of yet I have no idea what I'll do. I'm thinking of maybe trying to start Ame-Comi Black Canary for it, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?
