I am glad I have taken out so much time to visit and have conversations with you, to trade books and music. It's worthwhile.

A friend who isn’t willing to take time out of their day to work for the friendship, isn't a real friend anyhow. We befriend people because we enjoy talking to them, and hearing from them. So it would only make sense that you shouldn't waste time on people who give up quickly.
There are people out there to enjoy speaking with. Life just works at its own slow pace. Things will work out for you eventually.
For instance, until I started talking to Nichole just this past year, I hadn't found one good friend to speak to EVER for over 3 years, and now I have a friend I can talk to anytime., and now you also. I think it’s amazing that I can call you or Nikki at 3 am and 5 in the evening and you guys will both pick up and listen to anything I have to say. Great things come to those who wait, and you're really good at waiting, so I am sure luck is coming your way much sooner than later. Hang in there. Until then, just enjoy what life has already presented you. That's all you really can do.
