the girls, school, a Nurse lacking in tact.

The girls have half day today and are off the rest of the week. Kysa is riding the bus home with Synoah today. They'll play for a couple of hours and then Kysas Mom picks her up for her conference and then I think will be dropping her back off at our house for a couple more hours of play. Bay and Snows conferences are tomorrow ( Read more... )

You should of said "Hmmm...are you related to her?" Wonder if that would of shut her mouth!

How did your mom look? Is she getting better. I meant to ask you last Sunday but forgot to.

She was having a really bad Saturday. She threw a tantrum so they threw her on the bed and gave her an injection before I got there. She was totally out of it, conspitated and in pain, thinking she was in labor. Then she crapped herself.

The next day my Aunt Judy visited her and Mom told her I haven't come to see her yet. She totally didn't remember the 2 hours I spent there the day before. I guess Sunday she was doing really good though. Making sense, speaking clearly, etc.

Wow, some people don't have the sense God gave a turnip! I love Ana's response lol!
I sure hope your dad is having a really good time in LV and hopefully he is relaxing a little.
I feel bad for not visiting your mom, but that place freaks me out and I'm afraid of catching her on a bad day. I'm glad there are lots of good people in our family that put others feelings ahead of their own so that she has visitors.

ME TOO! Shit, if it wasn't for those that dont mind or should I say totally freak out at the thought of being there, guilt from Dad might work on me.

I guess it does since it got me up there Saturday but I have no desire to show up for her benefit on a regular basis. Dont get me wrong. I'm sure I love her but all the other mentally disturbed people that might be around, not to mention the random staff member(s) who might want to diagnose or label me or my Sisters with her disorder, are plenty enough to keep me away on a regular basis. ;-)

I'm feeling guilty still being sick & not up to visiting. Especially since your Dad said he really wanted her to have visitors while he was gone.

That nurse has zero tact. Some people just don't think at all. I am pretty sure I know the one you are talking about. I think she was the same one who was there the day my Mom & I were there when Colleen came up. She kept asking all sorts of questions. Seriously read the chart lady! Which of you girls has it?!? Think before you speak.

Hope both girls conferences go smoothly. Such smart, good girls I am sure they will.

That would be great if your Dad was actually relaxing & enjoying himself in Vegas. After all didn't your Mom say he was a "chick magnet".

Saturday Mom pretty much said he's been a man-whore for their whole marriage so I hope he's getting laid. NOT REALLY! Okay, well I guess if he's getting accused of it, he might as well be so I hope he is. This whole paragraph is ick. I just hope he's happy no matter what that means. LMAO.

Andrea was there for half an hour before she had to work today and Colleen is up there right now (has been for a couple of hours I think).

Andrea will be up there tomorrow afternoon at 1 (or 1:30 but I think she said 1:00) to meet up with Aunt Nancy for a Mom visit/exchange (Stephanie sent something she crocheted to her Mom to give to Andi).

DONT feel guilty about feeling sick and not up to going! Shit - I'm her kid and I dont visit because I just dont feel like it! Get well! That should be your only focus right now.

I agree that I hope your man whore of a Dad is happy. He sure deserves to be.

I called to tell your Mom tonight to say I went to the doctor today & I still have pneumonia. The doctor made it very clear today if I don't rest I will not get better. As it is with rest it will still take a better part of a month as long as I keep moving in the getting better direction. I just left a message since she had just gotten medicine for pain & was laying down. I feel as though hospitals are germy anyway & if I am already sick I would like to not add additional germ crap to it.

What did Stephanie crochet for her? Was this Nancy's first visit? Wonder how that went.

Riley woke in the night with bad ear pain. We headed to the doctor with her this morning & she has a "very bad" ear infection in her right ear. They did an antibiotic switch & some medicine to put in her ear. When she woke from her nap she ws 102.8. Poor kiddo.
