Hmmm...

Well it has been a while since I wrote a meaningful entry into this thing so here it is. Mainly what has been going on in my life has been nothing really that unusual. God, that sucks, the whole roommate issue. You gots my sympathies. But the idea of having no regrets is kind of wierd. I mean, I try not to have regrets. When you regret something, it means that you dwell on it, thinking about it. You kind of have to let it go. It is what it is, and you just have to deal with that, move on. And that is always easier said that done.

Hmmm...let me rephrase that.. jazz_man2005 April 26 2005, 02:50:37 UTC
What meant by the regret part was that I'm not neccessarily dwelling on the situation even if it may appear I am, but the regret services more of a reminder or a memory that will be used for a better good in that it helps me do things differently if a situation that is even slightly similar comes up so I won't make the same mistake twice. I've heard people put having no regrets (not you alice) in a context that they are not admitting to a mistake whether they are right or wrong when I've been able to tell that they are lying to themselves and continue later on to do the same thing over and over again. You can have regrets without fully dwelling on the situation that caused them by using those regrets as I said a sort of learning fuel to make sure that the mistake that was made before does not get made a again. Sorry for that sounding weird of course I was writing this after having been up nearly eight hours so it probably came out differently that I mean to. Hopefully this does not sound quite as weird.
