She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy

Okay, so I'm really tired right now, so I'm not sure how coherent this post will be. I have a to go to the John Waldron Arts Center at 5:15pm to stage manage a rehearsal for Windfall and will be there late. I think the show's tomorrow...I always hate having to learn the show in two days, plus I don't have as much of an emotional attachment to the cast and performance. It's much different than working on a theatre production for a couple months, or a musical...I miss playing in the pit of Guys and Dolls. So today was slow in class, and I'm tired of studying and I have to study really hard this week. My final is on Friday morning. I would consider not going to frisbee Thursday night, but that's just an absurd thought. Of course I'll be there. Also, Brian's getting into town on Tuesday. I convinced Emily to come to class with me tomorrow too. She's never sat in on a college course or anything, and I think it would help her feel more comfortable and be confident strolling into class when they start. As it is, she's looking forward to college and has been ready for months. She's gonna have a great time. I have a quiz Wednesday morning, I would consider taking it Tuesday after class, but I won't be prepared for it then. More importantly, Wednesday is my brother's birthday. We both think very much alike concerning our birthdays. I heard he doesn't really plan on doing anything special because it's just a birthday. lol, I said that on my last birthday to people. I don't think that they really are spectacular, but it can be a fun thing to celebrate. Anyway, I don't know what to get him, or whether to try to get people to get together to hang out. I was thinking of calling people he knows and doing that. Maybe have a party at his place.. O.o Yeah, I'll consider that. Oh, also I'm planning on throwing a frisbee around at the Hoosier Mama?'s practice on Wednesday. One of the guys has been trying to get me to come. I don't think they're the kind of games I would like, or maybe even people, but maybe I'll enjoy myself. I took Organic lab last semester with two guys on the team and they were cool guys, and look in my class seems like a good guy too. I'm sure I'll have to refer to this post to remind myself of the things I'll have to do this week. Also, I'm thinking of just calling Emily every time I have something new to schedule, I gave her my class schedule and hundred, and SH schedule to make a planner/schedule for me, so maybe I should just make her my personal assistant...we'll call it an internship so I don't have to pay her. It'll be good experience for her. That's it. My bruise is getting bigger. Got it from giving plasma. Now it's hmm...8 times the original size of the bruise. It's getting better though...the skin is getting yellow around the site now. It's my fault it even formed...heavy lifting after a bad donation. Oops.

So I had a great weekend. I was surprised to get a call Thursday from Lauren asking "If I'm in Bloomington tomorrow, would I have a place to stay?" She and Beth came to visit me from Tennessee for the weekend. There wasn't exactly a grand plan because of the short notice, but we had a great time! We took a ton of pictures on Beth's camera, so if anyone shows me how to upload pics on this thing, I would be happy to post one or two. The girls got here on Friday, we went out to play some frisbee golf with Rob. Beth was okay for a beginner, and Lauren was really good for a beginner (even though they thought they weren't good), it seems those lessons with Jordan (ER or not) have been paying off! After frisbee, we took a long tour of the campus. Beth's never been to IU before, she goes to UNC. We then came home for a delicious home-cooked meal. On Saturday we went shopping (yay, my favorite) at the Fountain Square Mall and it was kinda fun hanging out in there. Then we went to the crappy mall here in bloomington where there is nothing. I just don't like it. Then we went back to campus and went "swimming" in the fountain in front of the Simon music building. That was a lot of fun and we have the pictures to prove it! We lied down and dried off before making our way back to the car. For dinner, we went to La Bamba (burritos the size of your head)! We met Ben there for dinner. Our trip to La Bamba was interesting...perhaps my favorite time there. Ben asked the young man working what he might suggest he try, for he didn't want to have the usual Super Burrito. And the guy said "nothing" "everything here sucks" and "you should go somewhere else"....the nerve! It's La Bamba! Anyway, Ben got something based off what the cook suggested. I was getting upset because I saw they were out of Pepsi. I told them I was just about to take my business elsewhere and that I was very disappointed. So he decided to give me the Wild cherry pepsi no charge. The nerve! Anyway, we sat down and started eating our meal, and Rob came by to sit and hang out for a bit. When Ben went up for a refill, they offerd to give Rob free food! lol. I haave no idea why. Anyway, basically we were having a lot of fun with the employees and they liked us a lot, you could tell. The whole La Bamba experience was really looking great, when one of those great songs they play with the Tuba came on. So of course, there was some dancing and a lot of fun to be had. Crescent Fresh! On Sunday, we went to breakfast at Village Deli with Paul, Amanda, and Leila a little later that we anticipated. We also stayed until almost 2 when they were planning on leaving around 12. Oh well. It was well worth it. Then we went back to the apartment and hung out for a little longer until the girls left. I know I left some thing out...Im thinking of things even as we speak that I forgot, but you get the general idea, if not more. So I had a wonderful time with both Lauren and Beth. And it was very nice to get to know Beth better. It was a little strange coming back home after they left and being completely alone in my room after hanging out all weekend. Of course, there was all Sunday remaining when they had gone, and I went to play some pool at the Union with Emily for a couple hours. That's when I got home, and soon went to sleep for this day, which is exhausting me so. Gaaaa. Anyway, I'm gonna go for now. Another long post...I'm gonna try to check again how to lj-cut this. Later.
