childhood memories are the most precious of all and homes are often the center of those memories and reflect safety and warmth. I'm sorry to hear that you've lost that but you still have the memory.

Most of my relatives on my dad's side are in Louisiana.

Cry over a house. It's not selfish. Houses are oft times nicer than ppl.

I don't know how they are, btw. I haven't asked.

I've asked and have received an answer...no matter how skewed the answer was. It said to me, "I have no alternative motives, I only think of you and not myself and so therefore I be not selfish and shite......................".

but i understand my grandma was more of a mom then my mom when i lived at her farm and i have been going there since birth.....
