lol...I love you, Alec. Those words brightened my day.
I'll have to check and see when we are leaving for Nantucket (It might be the 13th), but if not, let's make plans! If we are, then I think I have a day or two in Shirley before I go back to Chicago. I hope I get to see you anyway because I miss you. I'll let you know about the specific days. And, as always, you are welcome in the city of Chicago at any time.....in my super awesome apartment next to a Buddhist temple. =)
Heya sweetie! I just left you this insane, rambling message on your phone. Cuz I'm a moron, and didn't have my thoughts collected before I started speaking.
Anyway - Ravenswood is closer to me from where you used to be, right? We HAVE to hang out more often!!
(I dunno if it helps at all, but I had a bad food weekend, too... I nearly fainted on a bus on Saturday because I had forgotten to eat - I've been so stressed out over some stuff going on right now. We should get together, share a nice healthy sandwich, and catch up with each other! Because we're WORTH IT!!!)
Good luck with the job. Retail can be incredibly frustrating and exhausting but if you work hard at it you can definitely end up making a lot of money. It just requires a lot of patience. (With customers and corporate because they're both going to piss you off.)
I left Borders and I'm an assistant manager at Skechers in Nashua now. I'm actually enjoying it a lot and the pay is decent. I'm thinking about getting a second job for the extra money to save up for traveling but I wonder if I might just end up running myself into the ground.
I'm sorry to hear you're not doing well with your eating disorder. Although I cannot say I understand 100%, I do understand what it's like to make excuses to not go out, etc, because of my extreme anxiety. I am improving slowly. It's very difficult but you just have to keep your chin up and move forward even if it is at a turtle's pace. Everyone falls down, just make sure you pick yourself back up. Your friends are all here to help if you need it. Try to keep positive!
