Last night turned out to be a complete clusterfuck. When we arrived at the Chandler Center for the Arts at 5:00, we learned that a transformer had blown earlier that afternoon, and the building had no power for the sound system, air conditioning, some lighting, and many of the outlets backstage. Yes, I remember that one, too.

Didn't he actually repeat, verbatim, the rant that Julia had given to him the first time? I think that's what happened. And he was so deadpan with the delivery that it just cracked me up.

I also used to love Berniece and how she'd break out into a sudden chorus of, "Black man, black man....where did you come from?"

Just a scream!
