I very much agree with the first comment. Sam is being very selfish, even if he does believe his reasons to be valid. At the same time I understand Sam feeling like he needs to be somewhat guarded. He has so many things to consider, not just how he might feel, or even how Dean might feel. It's a double-edged sword.

I feel bad that Dean missed so much that Dennis got to be a part of. Especially since the choice was taken completely out of his hands.

I hate that damn Dennis. I'm also happy that Sam has someone to share things with.

I wonder now if John knows all about Mikey.

This is very good. I can't wait to read more.

Yeah, the situation is definitely complicated as heck. Teehee, Poor Dennis, he gets no love :P.
