defiantly check out Kant

his theory is that the highest good in life is to have a good will. but to have a good will you can't be a good person, because then you're acting out of inclination. Instead to have a good will, you must be a moral person because then you're acting out of duty.

it's pretty intersting actually.

Already have, I've taken Philosophy classes before this is the first time I've sat down and red the whole republic, before I just read bits and pieces from all sorts of people.
