When you're sick, the only thing you really feel like expressing is that you're sick.

Slight joint ache (including behind the eyes), slightly raw throat, slight congestion, and massively woozy feeling.

Sorry, dude. I have an illness as well. Joint ache is the worst symptom of all time, maybe even worse than puking. It just sucks the life out of you. My sympathies.

I just feel bad for my students . . . today, in Old English, they are learning about inflected endings for nouns and pronouns, while in Historical Linguistics, we are covering phonetic classification of the consonantal sounds. With my brain surrounded by several layers of bubble wrap, I'm not sure how (or if) this is all going to go down . . .
