Too much is never enough

Got nothing to do for the next two weekends?

Come on the Johnny Zebra Mid-Atlantic Roller Derby Tour!

1. Sunday, June 10 @ 6PM, Harrisburg: Come see me guest ref the Harrisburg-Long Island bout -- only 90 minutes from Baltimore up bucolic I-83. CCRG is tight with the H.A.R.D. girls -- if you were at our last home bout's afterparty, you might remember their provocative interpretative dances to the (unrequested) acoustic guitar entertainment of the hosting bar.http://www.harrisburgarearollerderby.com/

2. Fur Brawl: Saturday, June 16 @ 8PM, Philadelphia. I'm jammer reffing a charity bout for Companion Animal Charities. The whole thing is animal-themed, down to the teams. The line-ups for the teams are incredible -- some of the best players on the East Coast, from Carolina, Baltimore, Philly, Providence and Gotham, including Roxy Rockett (Carolina), Slay Belle and Teflon Donna (Philly), Joy Collision, Berzerker, Pistol Whip (CCRG), Dolly Rocket (Providence), Suzy Hotrod (Gotham) and tons others I've forgotten because I deleted the roster e-mail. This is going to be some of the highest level derby you'll get to see on the East Coast. http://www.phillyrollergirls.com/

3. Today Show taping: Sunday, June 17 @ 10AM, Putty Hill Skateland. So, The Today Show is doing a piece on derby and is going to film a CCRG scrimmage, with their reporter Natalie Morales (former NBC Olympics correspondent, and an experienced skater herself) skating with the Mobtown Mods, as "Natalie Moral-less, #7AM." We need fans at this practice to make lots of noise and show colors for the cameras, so come out and join us (and bring some derby-fan friends)! http://www. charmcityrollergirls.com/

4. CCRG, 3rd home bout: Sunday, June 17 @ 7PM, Putty Hill Skateland. Oh yeah, then there's CCRG's 3rd home bout, with the rematch of Speed Regime and Night Terrors from the 2006 championship, and the Junkyard Dolls and the Mobtown Mods. These match-ups are pretty even, so it'll be anybody's bout, plus the Mods and the Dolls both want their first victory, so expect fireworks. Oh, and The Today Show AND the Food Network will be filming this bout. Our newest sponsor, Charm City Cakes (from the Ace of Cakes show on the Food Network) will be presenting CCRG with some kind of awesome cake as well.http://www. charmcityrollergirls.com/

Had enough? I expect to see you at all of these.
