Congrats to the first ten Idol contestants who made the Top 20! From what we've seen so far, I couldn't stress it further that this is bound to be a girl season.

One thing, do you know is any it's possible to see The OSCARS live on the internet? it's not on Tv :(

I was sad for Johnny Keyser.. especially when this kind of Justin B. made it and he was awful, I guess the want the teenagers vote.. and also the black guy was terrible.. they always fuck up with the guys. I agree, I liked Charlie Askew but my fav are Paul Jolley and Devin Velez.

I also like the girls you mention.. my fav are Kree and Angela :)

About "Idol", high FIVES! Paul and Devin definitely gave the best performances in my opinion (I guess Curtis is in a league of his own, though his style was too "old school") so I'm glad those two also made it. And I agree Johnny should've made it over Elijah. The thing about the show is a majority of male contestants get their votes from teenage girls regardless of age (especially if they're good-looking), so Johnny would've gotten the teen votes too, but it was sad he got cut for the second time around.

As you've seen on my Tumblr, I'm already addicted to Paul Jolley. <3 <3 <3 He's underrated, though. I'm reaaaally hoping he would get the 'pimp spot'

Same here, I found some other links but they freeze occasionally, much to my annoyance, so I'm going to follow up in a few hours. LOL.

Paul is simply adorable. I dare say he's my #1 fave, and he's HOT too. Definitely my type :) But really, his vocal is incredible. We'll see how Lazaro and the rest of the contestants fare up but I'd like to see Paul stepping it up so he'll be voted through to the top 10 by the public.

Hey, sorry it took me a while to reply but today I was super busy ordering and cleaning stuff.. actually I just finished finally watching Nikita.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you that I saw the last ep with the guys and I agree more with the decisions probably because nobody really impressed me but I thought Bryan should have stayed. I mean, many of them were pretty boring and others I liked before like Lazaro or Nick were not at their best but I think they still deserve more chances.. the same with Cortez who I found the least boring for his song choice which was also more challenging than others (so I'd chose those 3 as the best of that night). And I think that Josh should not have sung his own song and should have chosen some famous good song for the just piano. So yeah, I don't know, but I think last week was more interesting for both guys and girls.. what did you think?

Yeah, I think you are right because otherwise I still don't get why they sent Johnny home. I liked Paul since the audition and I think he can do any kind of style.

Exactly, that is what I liked too.. I didn't consider him country because he didn't sound country so I hope he or somebody else won't change that.

I think the judges never meant to get rid of him but the producers of whoever behind the show wanted to give it more emotion or whatever with this "we don't agree" thing.. but I keep thinking they knew he was gonna be saved since they had decided who they were saving next for the other spot.

REC: you should check out VIKINGS (there are 2 eps.. the second from the web).. it's from the same creator of The Tudors with the same composer as well. I've always loved Travis in both Tarzan and The Beast and I'm super glad he finally got another good role.. but yeah, all the cast is good and I love this historical shows with cool female characters as well. I'll rec it on my LJ

That's great you've liked Paul since his audition. I didn't notice him til his "Blown Away" song in Hollywood. Then I became a fan after the sudden death round. I looked up his auditions again. He seemed very emotional most of the time and I love a sensitive guy like that
