I am in SUCH a good mood today. Insha Allah I hope it lasts! I watched and recorded a brilliant show on PBS last night called "Muhammad: Legacy of a Prophet." It was a great show. On top of that, its gonna be in the middle to upper 50s today. It is so "nice" out outside right now. It just seems perfect haha

okay.

i am kristie. hi.

im from boston, usa. i am interested in politics and society among a million other more creative things. i have many muslim friends and am interested in islam myself. i celebrated eid for the first time last week. i have personal reservations about devoting myself fully to islam (mostly just that i dont like the idea of being restricted to a belief system unconditionally) but i am still psyched about learning where other people are coming from.

i just want to exchange ideas and understand. in a positive way.

i havent really looked at the community in depth, i should do that now. i dont know how often it is updated or how many members there are but it seems like a place i could get a few insights from.

sorry its so inarticulate...

I am going through a bit of a spiritual struggle., taking time from what i have been practicing to rediscover my relationship with God as one on personal relationship which i feel i lost a lot of. I am interested in Islam have been for about 4-5 years. I found the community you ran and love poetry and was hoping i could be added? i no little of Islam and hoping to learn more, same with Sufism

the poetry community, the islamic poetry community. i totally dig poetry and considering to follow the path of Islam, I think it would be of great benefit for me to understand things better...

Hello, I'm interested in joining the religionofislam community if that's okay. I'm interested in understanding the religion as a whole because of it's growing importance to the world, esp. during the current war in Iraq. You certainly don't have to worry about me being disrespectful or ignorant. :)
