I download it from eztv though because it's yet to air here. It's still enjoyable in a way, but I think I would enjoy it more if it was more detached from the books, rather than use the names and a ROUGH guide of what someone might think happens if they were given 20 random pages of the book.

But yes, it's nothing like the books. I gave up checking for the differences eventually, because entire episodes would be dedicated to something that in the book either did not happen, happened but nothing like how it is portrayed in the tv series... or something that was pretty much not at all in character for the person based on how they were in the book.

... I'm on the 1st one and all I can say is, "what the FUCK?"

What happened to Toasted Toads and being Zedd's grandson... And the way Rahl is bringing down the boundry... and how they met, how George died, what happened to Shar, Chase and his Family... what the FUCK.

I am so disappointed. :( I hope the rest of the episodes are better, cause the first 1/2 are just... shit.

lolol, the first is probably CLOSEST to the book.

But yes, these were my thoughts. TRY TO ENJOY IT AS A SEPARATE ENTITY, else the changes WILL ruin it for you.

I watched it this weekend, actually. :P I liked it, but there again I never read the books so I couldn't notice changes. I'll get around it when I'm done with the dozens of unread books waiting for me in my room ha. <3
