I am so glad he is out of her life. I know how much you despised him. I am sad for her though, that she has been so hurt by him and that she is now hurting herself because of him. In time she will see what a horrible loser he really was. But it sounds like she invested a lot of emotions into him, so it will be a hard battle for her ahead.
