At what point does a person decide to cast fate to the wind, say screw the consequences - be it lost friendships, broken hearts, or a happily ever after ending - and finally put your own desire for happiness in front of your sense of morals and ethics?

Within reason, I think you should always put your own desire for happiness above all else.

I guess the key word is "potentially." It's hard to give a good opinion about what you should do when I know so little of the facts. Care to share? :)

that happend when i was about 15. maybe 14? iunno, pretty young.

God, i hate people.
either way, most people DON'T care about other people's feelings for the most part.
and when you do find someone who puts your feelings in front of their's.. well, you should really try to keep that person in your life.

thats the point your trying to emphasize, right?
