For the Last Time...

Dear God Wacom... release stable drivers for my Intuos Tablet... I beg you... I'm sick of opening task manager and killing each tablet process and then restarting the service every time you lose the display proportions and pressure sensitivity on my 2nd monitor... I've lost countless progressions on my drawings because you fuck up every god damn ( Read more... )

They figure people running such a crummy operating system don't have high standards to begin with :3

Well, it works both ways. People running linux often end up having to write patches for drivers themselves and then send them in for approval in the next release for the benefit of the rest of the world. :X

I guess if you know how to do that, then it's all good. But if you don't, you have more chance of a fix for your problem, being a user of a crummy operating system, when you write a bug report to paid support staff. Then it becomes the roof over their heads and the food in their stomachs that they fulfil your wishes. :) Users, or should I say Contributors of less crummy OSes can just fob you off if they don't feel like it or not enough people have the same problem as you.

Wacom has historically had lousy multi-monitor support. Especially with Alias Sketchbook Pro -- which is one of the reasons why I quit using Alias. Photoshop and Painter 8 behaved perfectly, but Alias would act like the cursor was on the other monitor. It took two driver updates before Alias would begin to cooperate on the primary monitor (out of three at the time). I haven't gotten anything to work on anything not the primary monitor ( ... )

Write to Wacom. Call them and file a support ticket. They can't help you if they *don't know*, and they won't know until you tell them. :3 It's their job!

Ive noticed when i use my table in XP (Virtual PC for mac) It tends to be a bit wonky, especialy in Open Canvouse *crys*

I havent used any of my createive programs in dual monitors, manly because i have my second monitor set to my 32 inch flat CRP Sony tv. I watch movies off it while using my 22 inch flat lcd monitor.

I have Scetch book on my Mac side, I realy do need to use it more. but i dont have it on the PC side so i wonder if it would do the same to me as it dose to Jazz, Hummmm
