oh, i know... music is the most beautiful thing ever.
my post earlier about not feeling completely myself was in part influenced by music. my left hearing aid was not working properly and when i finally convinced the audiologist to fix it how i said she should, i felt soooooo much better. the first thing i did was listen to my ipod! i was so happy!
thats how much of an influence music has on me.

Yes music does have some sort of influence on people's lives whether they willing listen to it or not. I actually don't know what my life would be like without music. It's my motivator, my guide for life, and is one of my best friends to turn to when i want peace and some time to myself :-). Music has just been an inspiration for me. Especially when I played the clarinet for 2 years and did a tiny bit of piano. There is so much more I want to do besides just listening to music so I am actually thinking of either buying a trunpet this summer or just pick up some guitar lessons so I can play my guitar and my dad's electric guitar properly instead of pretending I'm a memeber from the band KISS. But overall Music ROCKS!! Now if I can just convince my mother to get me a MP3 player for my birthday.....

The first one about Burn sounds like the guy was being sarcastic, where people don't listen to your problems to help, but to get relief by observing your pain. There's a german word for it, I can't pick it up now ( ... )
