I know that i have an audience, and i am unabashedly taking advantage of it.
Ben, here's the most recent poem i wrote, not for class. The last person that read it called it "smutty" which made me laugh. I guess it fits in with what we are reading then.

*Blush* Thanks Austin.
I'm surprised but i dont think i've shown you any of my writing before. Its surprising becuase i always really liked the few things that you put in your LIveJournal, and your so literary--it would be a perfect match. Maybe its becuase you remind me of the super intellectual lead singer from Harvey Danger and that level of thick-rimmed intellect is intimidating.
anyway, its brittany the computer at work isnt letting me log in.

we could talk technical i suppose, i could say how you both
echo and transcend blake's voice in this poem, how well you construct
your metaphors and how much passion you embody in the speaker's voice,
the imagery, to quote austin, " is fucking amazing." i could say that, i could say
even more once i get past the awe, but then you already know what i think of your poetry (/blush)
needless to say, i think this one is pretty phenomenal
(don't say "You are too kind" =P)

we can talk more, in fact, if you like, we could do some co-editing of work sometime, perhaps for this week's paper if you have the time. i added you to my b-list for aim, which (for you too austin!) i recently turned back on.

also... FLCL saturday?

I would really enjoy some co-editting. Most definetly. The last few weeks i have been getting my papers done pretty last minute, but hopefully there will be time for editting.
Also Saturday sounds great.

i don't have the class email list so i am not sure how to get a hold of you.
no need to have a completed paper for co-editting can also bounce ideas, get the juices flowing, my fall back is usually to watch "The Portland Trip" episode of West Wing for that very purpose... always gets me into a more creative mode, i am sorta last minute myself...(psst... secret... i usually write my papers the morning before class, the lament for cassiopeia i wrote over the break before the afternoon seminar).

I've run out of literary things to say but I thought this poem was real neat and perty like.
I think you're talented and real neat.
