So my friend Kristina is having a girls' night Friday and I think I'm going to bring a video. The question is, which one? And so I pose the following question to you all
( Read more... )
i don't really know because chick flicks aren't my fave type of movie, but newsies is apparently really awesome. i've seen it about a total of 1.5 times so far. christian bale is supposed to be very hot and i guess he has sexy hair. so says the girls at adrienne's bachelorette party.
I've seen Newsies far too many times. Carrie was obsessed at Hope. This is how I know that I share my birthday with national Newsies day. Scary. But yes, Christian Bale is rather good-looking. And his hair is terrific.
You were obsessed. There were times you watched that movie more than once in a day. And played the soundtrack at least once. It was a short period of obsession, but obsession it was. :-p
As a guy who has female friends, I've been forced to watch Love Actually many a time. Apparently it's just SO true and stuff. And about love. And they throw in some Christmas, too, so it's all warm and fuzzy in a real-world way.
So given the statistics, it would win my vote for "Best Chick Flick"
Little Women - I read most of Alcott's fiction before I was 12 and have always had a soft spot for those books. The 1994 version with Winona Ryder and Kirsten Dunst has always been a favorite.
Pride and Prejudice - last year's version with Keira Knightly. Finally got around to seeing it last month and it was tremendous! I'd take that to Kristina's if she hadn't seen it the same time I did. :-p

it's not really a chick flick, but it's hilarious.

My vote is for Pretty Woman. After all, what hooker doesn't wish she could have a prince scale the wall for her?
