Last night for a little surprise we took a trip to Game Chest to pick up a few games to play together. Real games, not the video kind. We actually sat at the dining table and played together instead of at computer screens next to each other to play together. It was great fun ( Read more... )

Jimmy and I love Ticket to Ride. We played it last weekend, in fact. We should try to get together sometime to play. We have the American edition and the Switzerland one.

Gloom actually sounds really fun. They play board games down here an awful lot - but I don't really have the attention span for the 2 hour+ games they like.

Card games seem more my style, Chez Geek/Goth and Munchkin. I also liked Betrayal at Hill House (I think?) and Arkham Horror, which are both sorta kinda co-op games.
