What's this inabilty about not being able to write properly loved up canon couples? Case in point: Billy Kaplan and Teddy Altman. I find that the canon does such a good job with them it's pretty hard for me to put my own spin on it, you know? Which is the main reason why I avoid writing Teddy/Billy because they are pretty perfect as to what they

I find I'm that way too. The better covered something is in canon, the less I want to write about it. That's why I am not in the fandom for my two favorite show,s Babylon 5 and Millennium. I think they are amazing as is, and fanon adds little to either. And I often get annoyed at fanon for bieng crazy. ^^

Where as Comics have giant gaping holes of wrong, so did the old Battlestar Galactica, and I feel that, fanon adds to these things.

You seem like you'd be very good at that, with all the inherent privilege and PoC issues that would be involved in that.

I love seeing you take on alternate universe concepts (like genderswaps and steampunk) that fandom usually does flippantly, because you take them way more seriously than anyone else I've ever seen and it's awesome.
