Up to now, I held off knitting for the other one because of the sweater curse, and that worked for him for years until he went off and read up on this curse and went, "Aha! It doesn't work for we are MARRIED!" so the jig was up. But it's miles of ribbing. No colour, no cable, rubbish.
I know how you feel fic wise, there aren't many once they are are written that I stay attached to, but I think that's mostly because I look back and cringe on my older stuff thinking blah! I wrote that crap?
Lolz. I heard that. Like in the moment I think that I'm at least writing to the best of the prompt and I'll worry about it while I'm in the mood. But once it's off and there's some distance, you can see the faults, you know? It's hard to be all pitter pat over stories posted once you know that you can do better.
Oh cripes, I hate having the flu. It seems to be getting worse, and I have jobs to do this week. Crap.

Today is the first sunny day in what seems like weeks; so I'm going to try and get a bit of vitamin D before work tonight.
I will post a picture of this jumper. My partner wants it long, so that when he lifts his arms, there's no tummy to be going on with. Depending on the length of the yarn, I might have to buy another ball. Oh, well, he likes the colour, and the rib so far. He better wear it, or I'm going to bury him in it. >:[
Heh, I like fanfic well enough to do it, it keeps my brain working. I tend to think of them like crossword puzzles, nice enough when doing them, but not interesting enough to go back and see how much of them I racked up over the years. LOLL.
