After a lot of tugging and pulling, trimming and expanding, deleting, yet adding new words, it's done and will wait in queue for the reveal. Sewing machine prices

It's one of those things where I'd say, "It all depends." If you want a wee starter machine, you can get one for as little as £50, but I wanted a machine that I could grow into. So when all's said and done, I think it cost me about £200, after rebates (I exchanged an old machine for a new one), and it's a machine that can take me up to intermediate level. It's been aces so far, I can tuck it under my dining room table when it's not in use, and it's just really a good thing.

I'm going to be doing some classes so I can learn how to use the darned thing as quickly as I can. LOL.

Man, that jumper. I'm so glad that I got it finished, but as soon as I sewed it together, the weather segued into bright skies and cool breezes, so I'm all >:[. But that's fine, I've knitted him a jumper, if he uses it to wash the car, I don't care. :D

The classes

They are at the place that I got my machine from. The clientèle tend to be into quilting and dress making so they have classes there on a rolling basis. I can't look to do anything serious in that direction until June, July, but I'll definitely take it up as soon as I am able.

What did he say about the jumper when you'd finished it? :P

He said, "Thanks" and, "I'll try it on and tell you what I think." (because I expressed concerns that the sleeves were entirely too long). But I don't really care, lol. I have my free time to knit and sew, so boyo can hold it. LOL.
