I have been bustin' my tail with the exercise around here...I feel so good. I swam a half mile on Tue, two miles on Wed, and yesterday I swam one mile, and later went for a run. I ran two miles and walked one. I think today I am giving myself a break and then tomorrow I lifeguard in the morning, so I can swim after that. I just hope that I keep ( Read more... )

I am doing ok today. Did a lot of thinking last night and this morning and I know that no one can help who they like, so I shouldn't worry so much. Well, I have definitely just acquired and gotten rid of the flu in about 24 hours. Usually when I get it, it stays with me for close to a week. Lucky me. I haven't eaten since Thursday because of my loss of appetite, and food does still seem questionable to me right now. This time though I pulled some tendons and ligaments in my shoulder during a camper restraint. Oh me gosh! I am so full! I just made chicken alfredo and it was very filling. I am doing pretty well out here. I don't get to update very often and most of the time I am exhausted. Much like now. Whoa, buddy! This week I feel was the most difficult yet. There were lots of behavior issues. In my group we had three campers who were self abusive. One would bite himself or hit himself when frustrated and the other two would hit themselves. Two of them were blind and one was glued to my wrist all week.
