So guess what....
I FINALLY GOT MY COPY OF NEWS LIVE TOUR DVD (RE version)!!!!!
I feel like I've been waiting forever for it to arrive. This past week has been torture. Everywhere I looked there were spoilers of the DVD but I didn't want to see any of them. I wanted to wait until I got my own DVD. I was getting really anxious because pretty much everyone else had gotten theirs so I was wondering why mine was taking so long to arrive. I almost gave in and downloaded the whole concert but I thankfully decided against it and stayed patient. Then yesterday (which was Friday), I was expecting to receive my DVD since its tracking record indicated that it was here, but when I arrived home, there was nothing in the mailbox. I was waiting all day at school to come home and find the DVD in my mailbox but what I got was nothing. I was actually really angry at this point and threw a mini temper tantrum right there on my doorstep. I thought that this meant that I would have to wait until Monday to receive the package since there's no mail on weekends. But thankfully there was a little note in my mailbox that said that I had received a package and that I was to pick it up at "the Quickie" the next day after 1:00 pm. I was really frustrated and just wanted to get the DVD right away, but after some thinking, I figured that it was for the best since I had to work on a project anyway for Japanese class which was due the next morning. So I got over it and accepted the fact that I would have to wait just one more day to receive my NEWS DVD.
So finally, today after Japanese class, I went straight to "the Quickie" to get my DVD. As soon as I got it, I was just so happy. It didn't hit me until I opened it and held it in my hands. The first thing I did was run to my computer and popped the DVD into it. I was just going to watch a bit of it but I ended up watching the entire concert without stopping. I have to say, THAT WAS THE BEST MOST AWESOMEST AMAZINGEST ASHKJDSGHAKASLGSLGK CONCERT EVER!!!!! NEWS was just so amazing. I didn't even care if my mom and her friend were in the next room. Sometimes they would come and watch behind me and would comment, "Hmmm this is pretty interesting. Do you understand what they're saying. They look like they don't even shave. Wow there are so many people. They're so colourful. They are actually pretty good looking. That's an interesting skirt that one has got there....." I'm glad that they were interested in NEWS and watched some of the concert with me. Apparently, Shige is my mom's favourite XD She said that he looked smart and serious and not as "flashy" as the others. She also went on about how Massu's skirt was interesting and she thought it was actually fashionable lol. But then her friend asked me if he was actually a cross dresser! OF COURSE HE'S NOT (that would actually be Tegoshi xD). Then they also thought that they were gay and I told them that they were not (though who knows really).
After halfway through the concert, my mom and her friend left and I was left home alone to continue enjoying my DVD. The second half (after the MC) was incredible and got all my feels going. I was expecting to cry throughout the concert but instead I had a huge smile on my face, even during Share and the members messages. But Full Swing did get to me, even though I had seen the spoiler of it beforehand and had smiled throughout it. I guess this time it just got to me, probably since I had watched the whole concert that led up to this emotional scene. Watching not only the members cry but the fans too made me shed a few tears but after that, during the encore, it was all smiles again.
I'm just so happy that NEWS was able to come back and put on such a great concert. I believe that they are better than ever and will have lots of success as 4nin
Now all I have left is to watch disc 2 and everything from the LE version. I'll probably just wait for subs though before I download anything. In the meantime, I'll be re-watching the concert as many times as I can before I go back to school on Monday. I'm totally dedicating my life weekend to NEWS.
