Hi, I was looking a utsukushii dvd review and I found yours.
I love everything about this concert. I think most of the Yamapi & Ryo lyrics sounds much better especially when Massu sings it. I can see that there is no more wall between members.. they can communicate and act more freely to each other, unlike when Yamapi & Ryo still in the group the others are bound by senpai-kouhai-like-relationship.
But I'm a little frustrated that they didn't perform Snow Express, which they had performed the song without fail since they first introduced it in Never Ending Wonderful Story concert..and Massu! I don't understand why he must have skirt in most costume?! In your gif he looks like he is wearing a dress..LOL!
Shige will always be my ichiban! I love his voice especially when he sang "anata ga, anata ga..tonari ni iru dake de" his voice is so mellow~! I love everything about him even tough he fail so many times he is lovable!

I love everything about this concert too and I agree with you that NEWS is much closer with 4 members. No more awkwardness because of the whole sempai-kouhai relationship like you said.
And yeah I noticed that this was the first time that they didn't sing Snow Express. But it's probably because it's more of a winter song and they didn't want to sing it during their summer tour.
Haha Massu does look like he's wearing a dress. How on earth does he find this fashionable? lol
I loved Shige's voice too during Anata ga tonari ni iru dake de. I wish they had sung the whole song though so we could of heard his actual solo part (the one after the chorus). Yes even though he fails a lot that's what makes him lovable <3
Aha, thank you for pointing out why they didn't perform it.. I wasn't aware of the season. I guess this is the downside of living in a tropical country.
Fireworks! The background music they use when fireworks were launched is epic! Its like they had completed a quest, suits their castle theme and its weird that this time they don't use a live band like usual. I wonder why..
Another thing, before they become 4-nin I'm not very fond of Massu but now I begin to like him more and more ( its kinda opposite of you but whatever it is Shige is still my ichiban <3 <3 ) When Massu start to talk, lots of funny story came out from his mouth. Like when NEWS appeared in Oshareism & Shounen Club Premium last year.
Oh nice. I live in Canada so I am very aware of every season haha.
The fireworks were amazing!!! I thought it was an epic way to end the concert. Hmmm your right. I didnt notice that they didnt have a live band this time. Did they even have one in their last concert though (the LIVEx3 one)?
Haha so now Massu is creeping into your heart. I love how he gets to talk more now in interviews. Before when NEWS was 6nin he never really did. But now we get to see how funny and awesome he really is <3
