That line.....so stupid...however, in a fictional sense, as you have expertly shown, it can be chalked up Lukes tendency to talk without thinking first...and not a colossal slap in the face of fans who want them together.....even though its pretty obvious thats where they were headed....first clue, the train....second, Luke and comedy Dr. Character never did "it" (man, they had it as dialog for cryin out...) third, the last kiss we see on screen (knowing there will be millions more) and forth, Noahs declaration that he'll be waiting, fifth, the producer of ATWT saying in an interview that their "relationship would endure" endure meaning to last! Of course. Sorry Lure people (who i dont understand) but Dr. HA-HA was a soap opera relationship obstacle...like Ameera.

I really enjoyed your story, and the others....i know im kinda late to the party...but i stumbled across Luke and noah part 1 on Youtube and was hooked....HOOKED. darn covid.
