I bought a TSA approved combination lock last year for India. I have forgotten the 3 digit combination. Anyone know of any way to reset it back to the factory default?

I'll ask IHG when he gets home. He might know.

I know this is equivalent to asking, "Is it turned on?", but did you try googling for instructions?

Yeah, I googled and phoned REI since they sell them. No luck. Their offices open at 7am Monday, so I'll phone them then. Master requires notarized proof of ownership for their locks. This is a Pacsafe. I hope they're not as paranoid. For a $17 lock, forget it, I'll just buy a new one. Kinda sucks to have to, though.

Drive by comment - 3 digit locks only have 1000 possible combination. Set all three numbers to 0. Turn the top dial, trying after every turn. When you've gone back to 0, turn the middle dial once. Repeat. It doesn't take as long as you'd think - I found the combo of a four digit lock in an hour (after trying a third of the possibilities).
