Welcome to my first Photoshop tutorial. :) I've been asked by some how to do masking so I decided that Masking would be the first tutorial I do. While I use Photoshop, masking can be done in a variety of other programs. For those programs, you'll have to consult their Help section to see how to get to the tools needed to mask. Oh, where are the two tags from my entrie? Anyway, you understood me.;)

I will aks you, when I have problems. First I have to translate the tutorial a bit, then I can start. Oh ooops, I don't have any idea for a wallpaper.:(

This is most helpful, thanks Jane! I'm using a different program, but as you said, it will work just about the same there too. I just realised how much I need to learn! :)

Thanks for this. It is helpful even though it is for Photoshop. (Masking seems more complicated in Photoshop than in Paintshop. I read through the big manual that came with the program and a book I got at the library and was surprised how simple it was to actually do.)

I'm glad it helped. Cool that you have a manual. Those are vital to leaning any program. I remember back to the days where there was no masking. Ugh! The pain!! LOL Masking is the best!
