So I have been stoked and excited for Les Miserables for a while now. Like you couldn't tell from nearly every entry. However, when your director tells you 5 days before opening night that they don't have costumes, props, or sets like they promised, and that you need to go get them yourselves, it makes me a bit annoyed. My First Love
I say again for the bazillionth time... I absolutely love Les Miserables. It is such an amazing show. It's moving, depressing, uplifting, funny (not the first word you would think of, but it has it's moments), inspiring... nothing can top it for me. Ever. I can breathe again! I went to OYT for the casting in Les Miz, and I was cast as Fantine!!!! My friend Mandy and I are sharing the role! I never thought they would give me such a great and difficult role to play! I was preparing myself for Barricade boy #8! I feel honored that Tim believes I can pull it off. I am extremely nervous to find out my part tomorrow. I'm trying to think positive, but it is hard after so many auditions that lead to ensemble. And so many of them go well, and get my hopes up. I had a great time at Les Miserables rehearsal yesterday, no matter how stressed I was, and did my best for the auditions.
